  1. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Our “leadership” needs to understand the means for a solution has always rested in the hands of the experts in the field, i.e.,the citizens, business owners, voters, homeowners, apartment dwellers, employees, etc. Combined we have all the knowledge necessary to right this city.Failing that, at least the mayor could have reached out to the next generation – those who will never read a newspaper, could care less what the talking heads have to say on TV, and carry their means to communicate (and the future of our industries) in their hands.

  41. What is it that holds so many back? We see our goals, we write them done, we do a visualization board, maybe even have friends tell us to go for it. But, then the daily responsibilities creap up, the smile fades and it the excitement becomes a nice idea that gets put on hold.Is building up the confidence to achieve these goals something that we can strengthen also?

  51. The 911-call loaner Lexus had been spotted driving with erratic speed earlier on the highway and also stopped on the shoulder. It's pretty evident to me that the driver knew that there was a problem, and just tried to control the speed of the car with the brakes right up until the point where they had faded enough to be useless.Floor-mat or not, I don't think it is Toyota's fault if someone who should know better drives an obviously broken car and boils the brakes until they fail.

  63. Dr. Pielke, is the recent Munich Re report that seems to have resulted in so much discussion similar to a peer reviewed scientific report? Were its methods subjected to independent review?The reason I ask is that this report is being cited in the blogosphere extensively as if it were equivalent to peer reviewed literature. Ususally reports put out by organizations with a vested interest are viewed with some scepticism, however this one seems to be taken as read by many.

  66. My guess is that in this Japanese scene they prefer twins and thumpers.There are also lots of cool customs in Japan with Japanase four cylinder bikes but not so much in this particular show. Mooneyes is more the old skool hot rod show.Thats' why in this show you see the kawasaki W650/800 twinsand yamaha sr400/500 thumpers a lotAnd the very nice red Rikuo is a Japanese Motorcycle based on a Harley Davidson design

J’ai l’impression que ce serait bien plus pertinent que d’aller ennuyer les distributeurs. Les distributeurs c’est de l’emploi, alors que les variations du dollar, je ne vois pas quel intérêt ça a en France, on n’est plus en 1945.
